In the true spirit of Christmas, the employees of Credit Management Company, CMC, donated generously to the families of Circle C Youth and Family Services, a community-based non-profit agency serving troubled and disadvantaged youth in the greater Pittsburgh area.
For the sixth consecutive year, CMC participated in the Hopes and Dreams Holiday Project, Circle C’s annual holiday drive. During the month of November, CMC set up an “Angel Tree” filled with wishes from the 40+ children living in group and foster homes and the 100+ teens in one of Circle C’s transition programs and within hours the tree was all but empty. Over half of CMC’s employees participated in the project granting wishes ranging from a baseball hat and a train to a laundry basket and PS3 controller. The children received their gifts during Circle C’s annual holiday banquet on December 10th which included a special awards dinner and a surprise visit from Santa himself.
“I’m always humbled by the generosity of our team,” said Mary Lou Muti, President, Credit Management Company. “Giving back to the community is something we like to encourage and the Hopes and Dreams Holiday Project is the perfect way to do so.”
"It is only through the generosity of corporate partners and volunteers like CMC that we are able to make the season bright for the youth in our programs." said Barb Ginsburg, resource development manager for Circle C Youth and Family Services. "We are so thankful for their support and commitment to our mission during the holiday season and throughout the year."
